INDICATIONS FOR USE

ALTAPORE is an implant designed for filling bony voids or gaps within the skeletal system, including extremities, pelvis, and posterolateral spine. It can be utilized alone, as a bone graft extender with autograft, or in conjunction with autogenous bone marrow aspirate. These osseous defects may arise from surgical procedures or traumatic injuries and do not compromise the inherent stability of the skeletal structure.

ALTAPORE gradually resorbs and is replaced by bone during the healing process.

IMPORTANT RISK INFORMATION

ALTAPORE is not recommended for structural or load-bearing support within the skeletal system and should not be used in vertebroplasty procedures. It is crucial not to alter the size or shape of the granules. Maximizing contact between the existing bone and the implant is essential for proper bone regeneration.

The consequences of mixing ALTAPORE Bioactive Bone Graft with substances other than bone marrow aspirate or autologous bone are unknown.
